Termination of the TV BZ ME by the IGBCE
On 13 June 2023, IG Metall officially declared the collective bargaining on the collective agreement on industry surcharges for temporary agency workers in the metal and electrical industry (TV BZ ME) to have failed and terminated the TV BZ ME as of 30 June 2023. This termination will of course have an impact on both the temporary employment agencies and the temporary agency workers who work in this industry association if no agreement is reached.
What effects would this termination of the TV BZ ME have?
If this were to happen, there would no longer be a collective agreement on industry surcharges within the meaning of section 8 (4) sentence 2 of the Temporary Employment Act (AÜG) for the metal and electrical industry as of 1 July 2023. This means that employees who have already been employed by a company in the metal and electrical industry for 9 months or longer as of 1 July 2023 would be entitled to equal pay. Conversely, this would mean that both the temporary employment software and the temporary employment agencies would have to make adjustments to existing assignments.
A changeover of the TV BZ ME is surely very costly, isn't it?

Select the desired order and set an order end date of 30.06.2023.
Now click on “Duplicate order” and select the new start date (01.07.2023).
Now you are in the newly created order. Now remove the branch association in the master tab.
Then enter the Equal Pay wage under “Calculation factors” and have the order recalculated. And the adjustment is done!
Of course, this adjustment can also be set for stored framework agreements.
